Unit Coordinator/ Generalist - Neponset River House - Norwood

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, confident, and skilled Unit Coordinator/Generalist to join our team at Neponset River House. This role involves working one-on-one and in groups, with a focus on motivating members in various activities such as social and event planning, finding fundraising opportunities, attending health and wellness activities, and assisting with food services, advocacy, and other manual and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse
• Aid members in navigating employment, education, community resources, and finding a voice
• Create and organize evening, weekend, holiday, and special events to connect with the community
• Organize exercise opportunities and health and wellness educational forums to help members live a healthier lifestyle
• Work closely with members to navigate employment, education, community resources, and find a voice

Requirements

• Strong computer skills
• Drivers' license required
• An interest in food, health, and nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and/or relevant experience preferred
• Clubhouse experience, community-based programs, or Recovery Learning Community experience a plus

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of health and wellness programs

Pay

$21.37/hour

Schedule

Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Program hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm with occasional evenings and Saturdays.
