Your Everyday

• Maintains a safe environment for patients and others while performing priority technical procedures safely and legally.
• Transcribes orders and maintains patient charts while fulfilling receptionist and clerical duties.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to improve patient care and ensure orderly unit operation.
• Demonstrates care and concern for customers, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and seeking assistance when needed.
• Utilizes effective interpersonal communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes and perceptions of satisfaction.
• Enters supply rooms on nursing units as required for job functions, refraining from manipulating intravenous fluids.
• Contributes to continuity of patient care by complying with established hospital and departmental policies.
• Maintains documentation consistent with established guidelines to support patient care continuity

The Must-Haves

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or work experience equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Secretary or Unit Clerk in healthcare setting required
• PREFERRED: Associate's Degree in Nursing, Medical Science or equivalent
