About the role
As a Unit Clerical at Sodexo, you will provide accurate, friendly, quality service to customers/clients when processing transactions. You will serve as an information resource, maintain office records, generate correspondence, liaise with clients, vendors, and outside entities, and perform general clerical duties such as answering phones and processing expense reports.
The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, record-keeping, scheduling appointments, and operating office equipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for callers and visitors, answering and directing inquiries, taking messages, and providing information as needed.
- Assist with daily and weekly reporting, meeting arrangements, agenda preparation, and summarizing action items.
- Order office supplies and materials using company purchasing programs, and oversee office calendar, travel arrangements, and expense processing.
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift, which may exceed 8 hours.
- Reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1 or more years of previous administrative experience.
