About the role

This position is responsible for managing and leasing commercial real estate properties within the Greater Victoria portfolio, working with prospective tenants to match them with suitable spaces and managing ongoing tenant relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing cycle for assigned commercial properties, including marketing, showings, and lease negotiations
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, brokers, and community stakeholders
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to establish appropriate rental rates and leasing strategies
• Prepare and present lease proposals, term sheets, and related documentation
• Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure tenant needs are met
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, vacancies, and tenant communications
• Assist with property tours and open house events for prospective tenants

Requirements

• Valid real estate license in British Columbia
• Minimum 3 years of commercial leasing or related real estate experience
• Proven track record of successful lease negotiations and deal closures
• Strong knowledge of Greater Victoria commercial real estate market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for property visits

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, real estate, or a related field
• Experience with retail and office leasing
• Familiarity with lease documentation and legal requirements
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
