Job Summary
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. This role involves managing and coordinating project operations, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring project success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support UID SMEs with operations and process improvement projects
- Develop and manage project and department plans to achieve goals
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products, processes, and services
- Assign and monitor project team tasks, offering technical support and direction
- Administer and execute project policies, processes, and procedures
- Deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation, presenting results to relevant parties
- Collaborate with management and project teams to grow services and business opportunities
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations
- Identify and address project and department issues, developing solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals
- Lead project teams and provide direction and guidance
- Participate in or lead segments of the basis of estimate (BOE) process to generate new business
- Maintain safety standards and adhere to operating procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, with 9+ years of progressive experience in project administration, including 3+ years in project management
- Working knowledge of UID principles, including familiarity with MIL-STD-130 and 2D barcodes
- Thorough understanding of project management processes, planning, and scheduling methods
- Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet milestones
- Strong analytical, communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry concepts and manufacturing processes
Additional Desired Skills/Experience
- SAP or similar Manufacturing Resource Planning system
- DFARS and contract DID compliance and CDRL deliverables
- DD250 process
- Able to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
