Union Flooring Solutions Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for:

• Stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property
• Maintaining a written maintenance schedule
• Servicing equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications
• Inspecting equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged equipment

Education or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
• General mechanical aptitude
• Focus on safety

Physical Demands

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors as required by the job

Pay

$18.64-$20.64 per hour, depending on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
