About the role
As a Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight spaces like construction zones. Safe driving in these conditions is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to/from customer worksites
- Drive safely in urban, suburban, rural, and tight settings such as construction zones
- Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more
- Work indoors/outdoors as required by the job
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s license with CDL License and acceptable driving record
- Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment (preferred)
- Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers
- Customer service attitude
Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
- Safe driving in varied and tight conditions
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, squat, crouch, and reach
Pay
The hourly wage for this role is $49.16 - $51.16, depending on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
