Underwriting Technical Assistant
About the role
Falvey Insurance Group is seeking candidates for the Underwriting Technical Assistant support staff position. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, customer service-focused, and interested in careers in insurance.
Responsibilities
- Work with Underwriters to prepare quotes, policies, and endorsements as per Underwriters' instructions
- File management
- Data entry in Falvey Insurance Group's proprietary intranet system
Requirements
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment
- A willingness to achieve an insurance producers license (if not already licensed)
Qualifications
Hands-on training will be provided over the first 3 months of employment. Must be able to sit and work quietly for extended periods of time, operate a computer, and answer and communicate on a telephone.

Schedule
This position operates in a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office (Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days remote. Employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 USD per year (Headquarters).
