About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant II to join our Global Network US Servicing (GNUS) team based in our New York City, NY office on a hybrid schedule. The Underwriting Assistant II will service Reverse Flow business in support of the Global Network. This role provides advanced technical services and administrative support for Intact’s Global Network Underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Reviews foreign producing offices’ underwriting requests for US local admitted policy needs and assists the Global Network US Underwriters in validating requested premium and coverage requirements.
• Works alongside the Global Network Underwriters to apply underwriting and rating rules during transaction processing to ensure compliance with filings and guidelines.
• Effectively uses policy underwriting and workflow management systems to process submission, renewal, and endorsement transactions.
• Collaborates with Global Network Underwriters to ensure transactions are processed in a timely fashion and in compliance with the Global Network Service Level Agreement standards.
• Works closely with other service units, including Intact Operations, Finance/Premium Accounting to service accounts.
• Assists with special projects as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma required, with demonstrated business experience.
• Some college is preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of insurance experience preferred.
• Multinational and/or Reverse Flow experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $66,000, based on location, role, experience, and skillset.
