Underwriting Assistant

About the role

The Underwriting Assistant will be responsible for issuing all bind and endorsement requests for Personal Umbrella and Comprehensive Personal Liability products, as well as reviewing, maintaining, and implementing guidelines for personal lines of business for all states. This position will work exclusively with wholesale brokerages.

Responsibilities

• Issue all bind and endorsement requests for Personal Umbrella and Comprehensive Personal Liability products.
• Review, maintain, and implement guidelines for personal lines of business for all states.
• Work closely with wholesale brokerages.

Requirements

• Functional in the use of the Internet, Outlook, and Excel.
• Effective and independent management of workload with sound judgment.
• Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
• Adaptable in a changing business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years of experience required, entry-level preferred.

Benefits

• Pay range for this role in Scottsdale, AZ is $50,000 - $55,000.
• The role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive bonus program.
