Undergraduate Student Internship (Volunteer)

About the role

Community Counseling Associates offers an internship program to qualified undergraduate university students interested in the counseling field. We have internship positions available in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

What We Offer

• Experience private practice at our center
• Opportunity to join weekly staff meetings for case discussions and observing a private practice
• Opportunity to sit in and observe client sessions with therapist and client authorization (not guaranteed)
• Access to the center's developed counselor library and resources

Internship Expectations

• Maintain a professional appearance at our front desk
• Dress code is business casual
• Greet clients and offer them water, ensuring they fill out the correct paperwork
• Perform general office duties including light office work, restocking office supplies, and running errands if needed
• Attend weekly clinical supervisions every Monday from 10:00-12:00 or 12-1:15 (depending on the week)
