What You Will Do
The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. The co-op runs from August 2026 to December 2026 at our New Albany, OH site. In conjunction with project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and various networking events.
- Working with the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams on packaging line commercial support, and commissioning and qualification support of new packaging lines, leveraging your analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Working cross-functionally to identify problems, measure the current state, and develop, present, and implement recommendations.
- Network with colleagues across the company and enjoy full access to Amgen’s Employee Resource Groups.
What We Expect of You
- Basic Qualifications:
- Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
- Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
- Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
- Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
- Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree concentration in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, or related degree
- Previous co-op or internship experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability
- Proven leadership experience on campus (e.g., projects, clubs, organizations, sports)

- The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 - $28.30 per hour.
