Engineering Co-op (Fall 2026)
About the role
This program is designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines within our Supply Chain and Operations network.
Responsibilities
- Support critical engineering, quality, and process-improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.
- Manage or support project activities such as strategic sourcing, product redesign, or process improvement initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate processes, establish baselines, or identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in Kaizen events, Daily Management meetings, and Gemba walks.
- Support Change Management activities including documentation, trials, testing, and recommendations.
- Execute Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering tools to support process stability and product reliability.
- Read and develop part prints, assist with testing, and validate product or process changes.
- Support quality activities such as root cause analysis, audits, defect investigation, documentation, and corrective action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, sourcing, operations, and logistics.
- Assist in workplace organization, ergonomic improvements, or visual management enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs and internship track.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field; minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across functional groups.
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or engineering systems.
Qualifications
- Nice to haves:
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Exposure to Lean or Continuous Improvement concepts.
- Familiarity with quality tools or data analysis (e.g., SQL, Macros, CpK, 5-Why, Fishbone).
- ASQ entry-level certifications (for Quality-focused placements).
