About the role
Undercarriage Field Technician positions are available within the HOLT CAT organization. This role involves field service work primarily focusing on undercarriage components of Caterpillar machinery.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose and repair undercarriage issues on Caterpillar machinery
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand and resolve problems
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all field service activities
- Document findings and repairs in accordance with company standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing undercarriage components
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of Caterpillar machinery operation and maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related field service experience
- Willingness to travel as needed
