Undercarriage Customer Support Rep

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, providing comprehensive sales, parts, and service.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to arrange for measurement
• Visit customer sites and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Secure machines for undercarriage measurements
• Measure all components and load measurements into CTS Pro
• Inform customers of undercarriage status
• Report findings to appropriate PSSR
• Write service reports after completing jobs
• Keep work areas clean throughout the process
• Participate in required safety programs and work safely
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
• Organized work habits
• Safety-conscious approach to working with caustic materials
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow service material instructions and quotes
• Clear and concise writing skills
• Ability to multitask and problem solve

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, active driver’s license
• Background check and MVR with less than 10 points
• DOT Physical
• Drug Screen
• Experience in a shop setting (auto/truck/heavy equipment/rental)
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry)
• Ability to operate machinery and forklift
