Unarmed Security Officers for a college campus in, Nassau County

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus grounds and facilities.
• Monitor access points and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce campus policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service while remaining vigilant for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Accurately document incidents.
• Collaborate with campus administration and local authorities when necessary.
• Uphold a professional presence at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Years U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid Driver License.
• The ability to stand for long periods.
• The ability to understand and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• The physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.
