About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer for a College Campus in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security‑related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain communication with site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Level III Armed Certification in Texas (required).
• Armed Guard Card/License (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
