About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational location in Tustin, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Use communication and technology skills to report security-related concerns while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and campus representatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.50 / Hour

• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:31 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:31 PM
