Unarmed Security Officer

About the role

TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Unarmed Security Officers in the Oklahoma City metro area. In this role, you’ll maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and visitors. No prior security license is required; TriCorps will assist qualified candidates in obtaining a conditional and full unarmed security license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to buildings, entrances, and exits to ensure a secure environment.
• Protect employees, visitors, and property through active observation and professional presence.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and requests for service promptly and effectively.
• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas to identify and report safety or security concerns.
• Write clear and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Answer phone calls, greet employees, guests, and vendors, and provide general assistance as needed.
• Contact emergency services such as law enforcement or the fire department during incidents.
• Escort personnel to and from facilities when required.
• Support management and client instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Present a professional image and maintain a courteous, service-oriented demeanor.
• Stay alert and observant throughout each shift for proactive awareness.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and a calm, professional response to any situation.

Schedule

• Positions available across multiple locations in the Oklahoma City metro area.
• Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
