UMMG Staff Physician - Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine

About the role

The Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a Staff Physician in Nuclear Medicine to join our expanding imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy and theranostics is highly desired as the Division is quite active in conventional and new therapies for thyroid cancer, lymphoma, neuroendocrine tumors, and prostate cancer, to name a few.
• Supervise the performance of technical personnel.
• Be part of the on-call schedule.
• Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of Nuclear Medicine.
• Provide Nuclear Medicine consultation as requested.
• Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair.
• Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research.
• Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical Degree Diagnostic Radiology Residency Nuclear Medicine Fellowship
• Certification and Licensing: American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified – Preferred Nuclear Medicine Board (ABNM) Certified or Board Eligible Florida Medical License or Eligible
