Ultrasound Vascular Technologist
University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, we staff, manage, and provide preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers, and other medical facilities. We also serve as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.
About the role
We are looking for a full-time Ultrasound Vascular Technologist for our Maplewood, NJ Imaging Office. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is now being offered to eligible new hires.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 1 Saturday per month
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound procedures
- Perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment while adhering to all department and facility safety protocols
Requirements
- ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN or ARRT Registered in Vascular Sonography
- Minimum of 2+ years of work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
In addition to RVT certification, our Ultrasound Vascular Techs are required to be certified in at least one of the following: Abdomen, Breast, or OB/GYN. We will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as provide a bonus once obtained.
Pay
From $42/hour. The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0–5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including years of experience, education, and operational needs.
