Responsibilities
- Selects appropriate ultrasound equipment and adjusts controls based on exam specifications.
- Performs patient-centered procedures, explaining processes and considering age and understanding.
- Assesses patient pain during procedures and contacts physicians for intervention if needed.
- Ensures patient safety and minimizes healthcare errors during care delivery.
- Documents patient information accurately and maintains equipment.
- Adheres to established standards and protocols for procedures.
Requirements
- Two years of Ultrasound/Vascular experience preferred.
- Current ARDMS registration in abdomen (AB) and vascular (RVT).
- High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Self-motivated learner with initiative.
- Current BCLS certification.
Educational background: Bachelor of Science preferred but not required.
Pay
$38.41 - $50.02 per hour.
