Role Overview
This is a Per Diem, day shift position for a Registered Sonographer performing and evaluating sonographic examinations onsite at a medical center.
Responsibilities
- Obtaining clinical history
- Conducting physical assessments to determine testing protocols
- Providing technical interpretations of sonographic and physiologic data to assist physicians in diagnosis
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- At least 9 months of ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, including clinical rotation
Preferred Skills
- Additional ultrasound experience in Breast and Vascular modalities
