Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem
About the role
University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, employs over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and subspecialty areas. Operating for more than 60 years, the organization staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year. The position is a Per diem Ultrasound Technologist based in the Elizabeth, NJ Imaging Office. Join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with department protocols.
- Carry out duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
- Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
Requirements
- ARDMS registered in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN (or RVT plus at least one of those areas for Vascular Techs).
- Minimum of 2+ years of work experience as an ultrasound technologist.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
