Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem

About the Role

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Somerset, NJ Imaging Offices. Our team comprises over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and subspecialty areas. We interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures annually and serve as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Schedule

• Tuesday & Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
• Saturday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN.
• For Vascular Techs: Perform vascular ultrasound procedures (RVT certification required).
• Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, including working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.

Requirements

• ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN.
• Minimum of 2+ years of work experience.
• For Vascular Techs: RVT certification and certification in at least one of the above areas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
