About the role

Performs ultrasound procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, working independently and as a clinical and technical resource.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts ultrasound imaging following safety and radiological standards.
  • Verifies procedures and provides patient instructions.
  • Maintains ultrasound equipment and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Trains students and technologists in ultrasound techniques.
  • Manages supplies and ensures a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
  • ARDMS registration.
  • Four years of ultrasound experience.
  • BLS certification.

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of radiologic procedures and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and train others.

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift 30-35 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and effective observation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to bodily fluids and communicable diseases.

Pay

Pay range is $48.60 - $61.96 per hour.
