Ultrasound Technologist Part Time

About the role

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the “care like family” mission of the hospital. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Ultrasound Procedures and are responsible for exam protocols that provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
• Assume responsibility for specified examinations and introduce the basics of ultrasound to the student technologists.
• Assess and treat care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patients’ needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and perform well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography
• RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Associate Degree
