Role Overview
Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager/Ultrasound Supervisor and under the clinical guidance of the General/Interventional/Vascular Radiologists, performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while applying technical ability independently. Interacts and collaborates positively with all other staff members at MSKCC.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including general imaging, biopsies, and specialized vascular procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Graduation from an approved Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) School of Ultrasound is required.
- RVT & RDMS in Abdomen required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Schedule
3 days a week: Friday, Sunday, Monday. Training will be 9 AM–5 PM, 5 days a week. Once training is complete, you will transition to a 3-day workweek.
Pay
Benefit Pay Range: $52.26 – $83.69 per hour. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
