Ultrasound Technologist - Breast Center

About the role

We are seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in breast ultrasound to perform high-quality imaging exams, assist with biopsies, and provide compassionate patient care in a specialized outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducting diagnostic breast ultrasound exams following established protocols
• Assisting with ultrasound-guided biopsies and localized procedures
• Communicating findings effectively to radiologists
• Maintaining accurate digital patient records using RIS and PACS systems
• Ensuring patient safety, education, and exceptional service
• Participating in departmental projects and operational duties as needed

Qualifications and skills

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
• ARDMS or ARRT registration; breast registry certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• 1-3 years of ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations welcome
• Effective communication, teamwork, computer proficiency, and cultural competence
