Responsibilities
- Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
- Aid radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
- Maintain patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Qualifications
- Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
- Passed SPI exam.
- Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
- BLS certification required.

Pay
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
