Ultrasound Technologist

About the Role

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently, applying comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound principles to assist in patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams with judgment and ingenuity.
• Promote team collaboration and reflect organizational values.
• Assist with OB procedures such as CVS, PUBS, and amniocentesis (preferred).
• Maintain accurate documentation and operate electronic medical databases.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited education program meeting ARDMS prerequisites.
• Certification as a Registered Sonographer or equivalent upon hire.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred experience in OB procedures and EMR systems like Epic.
