About the Role
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently, applying comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound principles to assist in patient diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams with judgment and ingenuity.
- Promote team collaboration and reflect organizational values.
- Assist with OB procedures such as CVS, PUBS, and amniocentesis (preferred).
- Maintain accurate documentation and operate electronic medical databases.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited education program meeting ARDMS prerequisites.
- Certification as a Registered Sonographer or equivalent upon hire.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred experience in OB procedures and EMR systems like Epic.
