Ultrasound Technol ,PRN

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Education: Approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or approved Sonography Program by the ARRT.
• Required or Work Experience: No experience required.
• Required 1 year of experience.
• PREFERRED: 2+ years of experience.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible, Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support, upon hire Required and (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS).
