ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN - PRN

About the role

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for an Ultrasound Technician 1 – PRN position, scheduled Monday through Friday for up to 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and adjust ultrasound equipment using proper techniques.
• Perform all ultrasound procedures throughout the clinic.
• Work closely with the radiologist and other licensed medical providers presenting images and data for interpretation.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited ultrasound program.
• CAAHEP certification and IA Permit to Practice required.
• 1-2 years ultrasound experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of ultrasound.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of ultrasound technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
