Ultrasound Technician - PRN

About the role

Join as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures. Provide patient care across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Effectively communicate with staff and radiologists to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved CAAHEP or ARRT Sonography Program
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire
• Registration with ARDMS within 6 months of employment
• Vascular Sonographers must obtain RVT, RVS, RT(S), or RT(VS) certification within 6 months
• Breast Sonography registration through ARRT (BS) required

Preferred Skills And Experience

• 1 year of work experience (preferred)
• Vascular and breast sonography certifications are advantageous
