Ultrasound Technician - PRN

About the role

Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures following established standards. Provide patient services across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Effectively communicate with staff and radiologists to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved CAAHEP or ARRT Sonography Program
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire
  • Registration with ARDMS within 6 months of employment
  • Vascular Sonographers should obtain RVT, RVS, RT(S), or RT(VS) certification within 6 months
  • Breast Sonography registration through ARRT (BS) required if applicable

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Up to 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Vascular Sonography certifications are a plus
