About the role
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures following established standards. Provide patient services across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Effectively communicate with staff and radiologists to ensure quality care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved CAAHEP or ARRT Sonography Program
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire
- Registration with ARDMS within 6 months of employment
- Vascular Sonographers should obtain RVT, RVS, RT(S), or RT(VS) certification within 6 months
- Breast Sonography registration through ARRT (BS) required if applicable
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Up to 1 year of relevant work experience
- Vascular Sonography certifications are a plus
