Ultrasound Technician

About the role

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision, assisting licensed physicians in diagnosis and treatment across all age groups, from newborns to elderly.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic sonographs
• Assist with amnio biopsies
• Exercise professional judgment in patient care
• Complete required competencies within the introductory period

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography program
• Registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (or 12 months of hire)
• BLS certified
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to perform basic ultrasound procedures
• Exercise clinical judgment
• Work with advanced technology in a collaborative healthcare environment
