Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Prepares and sends specimens to labs in the absence of the secretary
• Prepares exam rooms before patient enters and cleans room following patient's exit
• Assists patients onto the table and instructs them in the procedure being performed
• Selects and records appropriate images for permanent patient records
• Produces and analyzes ultrasound images for physician diagnosis and treatment
• Ensures patient safety and delivers high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
• Remains calm and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography
• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification through the American Heart Association

Pay

The pay range for this position is $51.94 - $63.80 per hour.

Schedule

This role operates on an Evening shift.
