Ultrasound Tech - Per Diem/PRN

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. We provide exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound evaluations of patients and communicate findings to the Radiologist
• Responsible for venous/vascular studies and abdominal, renal, and small parts
• Assist in determining needs for equipment, supplies, and maintenance
• Perform clerical duties related to the operation of the department
• Absorb and transport patients as needed

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent required
• Certificate from a Diagnostic Ultrasound School
• Certification or certification eligible by a certified agency, A.R.D.M.S., A.R.R.T., C.C.I.
• Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program
• Vascular ultrasound experience and RDMS certification required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day

Skills

• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Pay

$47.50 per hour

Schedule

Per Diem (PRN), 8:00am - 4:00pm no weekends or holidays
