Ultrasound Tech - Full Time Third Shift

About the role

The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provides high quality care for patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric. Works in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment with reliance on your expertise, professionalism and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic ultrasound images in accordance with department scanning protocols under the general supervision of a Radiologist.
• Interacts with patients, physicians and staff in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited Sonography program.
• Years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS Certification in at least one specialty required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart 'Healthcare Provider') - AHA approved required.
• New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology for accurate medical diagnosis as associated with ultrasound.
• Certification & Licensures: ARDMS Certification in at least (1) speciality required, BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required*, additional RDMS certification in which the department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in accordance with the accrediting body’s guidelines.
