About the Role
Performs diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts, and pelvic sonography on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (in Ultrasound) or ARDMS, or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Ultrasound or AMA Accredited School of Ultrasound and must be registered within one year of hire date.
- Registry must be current and updated before the expiration date.
- BLS certification through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ultrasound experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to exercise skills in initiative, problem solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
- Knowledge of organization policies, regulations, and common safety hazard precautions to establish a safe work environment.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to serve, without prejudice or judgment, clients with differing lifestyles, race, economic status, age, or religious affiliation.
