Ultrasound Tech

About the role

A motivated team player with relevant experience is needed to repair and refurbish ultrasound probes according to original manufacturer and company specifications. The Technician will work semi-autonomously, assessing instrumentation, evaluating problems, and executing repairs while maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring the highest quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot ultrasound probes that do not meet voltage standards
• Use multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify and repair shorts and opens
• Micro-soldering probe arrays onto boards
• Test probes before submitting to Final QC
• Maintain a professional demeanor and take ownership of responsibilities
• Act proactively on behalf of the company and the customer

Requirements

• Acute attention to detail and aptitude for analyzing and solving problems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping safety and service paramount
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Capable of occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds
