Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ultrasound scanners
• Transport patients to and from the department
• Schedule patients, answer questions, and call exam reports
• Maintain a high standard of imaging
• Handle multiple demands simultaneously
• Keep a helpful attitude toward patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow

Requirements

• Technical or Associates degree, formal training in Sonography
• Must be registered by RDMS/ARRT or must have completed an accredited Medical Sonography Program and be ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible
• Must obtain registry within one year of hire
• Successful completion of the SPI examination preferred
