Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of the Chief Technologist/Shift Supervisor and Radiologists.
- Operates and monitors radiographic equipment for proper functioning, reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Uses safety devices to ensure radiation safety.
- Performs computer and clerical functions related to radiology requests.
- Stocks and maintains radiographic exam rooms.
- Utilizes appropriate nursing procedure techniques to provide care and safety for patients.
Qualifications
- Two semesters of school experience from an accredited Radiology program, verified with the program director.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or CPR issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
