Ultrasound Tech Student

Role Overview Performs a variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures under supervision, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts, and vascular exams such as peripheral vascular, renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid artery. May conduct advanced imaging like breast ultrasound, deep Doppler, and guided interventional procedures (e.g., biopsies). Prepares preliminary findings and provides patient care across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatrics. Key Responsibilities Execute ultrasound procedures following established standards.Perform diverse imaging including vascular, abdominal, pelvic, and small parts.Conduct advanced imaging and interventional procedures as needed.Prepare preliminary reports of findings.Deliver patient care across all age demographics. Qualifications Enrolled in an accredited ultrasound program (CAAHEP or CMA).At least 1 year of related student experience in an accredited program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
