Ultrasonographer II | Full Time

About the role

Under the supervision of the Director of Prenatal Diagnosis and the Division Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine, must be able to perform diagnostic obstetric ultrasound exams, and assist with invasive procedures as needed. Coordinates testing activities in unit as requested. Performs procedures in the area.

• Absorb and assist with invasive procedures as needed
• Cook up testing activities in unit as requested
• Perform procedures in the area

Qualifications

• Education: GED or High School Diploma
• Licensure/Certification: RDMS certification in one of the following specialties: Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), Fetal Echocardiology (FE), Neurosonology, Registrant - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Pediatric Sonography (PS)
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Preferred Licensure/Certification: For OB/GYN positions: CLEAR certification - NTQR certification
• Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a specialty ultrasonographer position
• PREFERRED Experience: Clinical Experience in High Risk OB, CLEAR (Cervical Length Education and Review Program), Fetal Echo Experience, or MFM experience
