About the Role
We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve. An Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The Ultrasound Technologist must operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment
- Ensure patient care and safety during procedures
- Handle documentation and record keeping
- Collaborate and communicate with healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited program in Sonography
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sonography
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Active BLS CPR certification
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of diagnostic medical sonography equipment and procedures
