Base Pay: $87,900.00 per year
About the Role
The Quality Control Manager for the facility will guide the Site Quality Control Department toward operational excellence by:
- Cultivating the Quality Control staff and adding to existing staff as needed
- Establishing and maintaining a gainful partnership with production while setting expectations of Acceptable Quality by encouraging responsibility and accountability
- Monitoring and reporting on the ongoing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) throughout the year
The Site Quality Control Manager will lead by example based on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of successful quality management in steel fabrication
- Current or previous certification as an AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
- Current or previous ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II Certification in Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle inspection methods
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods
- ISO or AISC Audit or certification experience
- Prior experience in the Tower and Pole industry highly preferred
