UI/UX Developer / Active Secret

Job Summary

Peraton is seeking a UI/UX Solutions Developer for enterprise-level UI/UX solutions development within our Cyber & Intelligence sector. This position is based at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, with flexibility for some remote work.

About the Role

The UI/UX Solutions Developer will design and develop intuitive user interfaces to optimize the overall user experience. They will create actionable and user-friendly dashboards, maps, and visualizations to help users consume information and make decisions. Additionally, they will work with data scientists and end users to refine usability and interface workflows, advance the mission by connecting customers and their challenges with UI/UX solutions, think creatively, challenge the state-of-the-art, challenge and support teammates, share ideas, win together, and continuously improve the accuracy, speed, and efficacy of existing tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces to optimize the overall user experience.
• Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards, maps, and visualizations to help users consume information and make decisions.
• Work with data scientists and end users to refine usability and interface workflows.
• Advance the mission by connecting customers and their challenges with UI/UX solutions.
• Think creatively and challenge the state-of-the-art.

• Continuously improve the accuracy, speed, and efficacy of existing tools.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships to support USTRANSCOM.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA degree; or, High School and 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of the bachelors degree.
• Experience with development and implementation of enterprise-level UI/UX solutions.
• Demonstrated creative thinker with a mission-minded focus.
• Must have a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to persist in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of the bachelors degree.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
