We are seeking a UI/UX Engineer to join our team supporting customer missions as a Hybrid remote / Reston, Virginia.

About the Role

Modernization & Transformation

• Evaluate legacy systems and interfaces to identify usability gaps and modernization opportunities
• Redesign outdated user experiences into intuitive, efficient, and scalable solutions
• Translate complex legacy workflows into streamlined, user-friendly journeys
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by aligning UX with modernization goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience redesigning or modernizing legacy systems or complex enterprise applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating transformation of outdated or complex interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
• Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability best practices
• Experience working with design systems and scalable UI frameworks
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and technical constraints

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $130,000 - $160,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
