UI Front-End Software Engineer-Principal

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Front-End Software Engineer with deep User Interface (UI) expertise to lead the design and development of modern, user-focused web applications that enable mission-critical operations.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership to a team of front-end developers while remaining actively involved in the design, implementation, integration, and delivery of scalable software solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable is no degree and sixteen (16) years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with full-stack software development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with state management, component-based application architecture, and responsive design.
• Experience using Git for version control and working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or AWS GovCloud.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and systems engineers to deliver intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Experience developing applications within Linux or Ubuntu environments.
• Familiarity with tiered or distributed software architectures.
